2008年毕业之后，进入了家具设计与室内设计领域发展，并前往纽约和巴黎进一步学习深造。后来，进入法国自然主义设计大师Christian Liaigre工作室就职学习，并深受其设计风格影响。2012年， Perrotta 回归意大利米兰，开始其独立设计师职业生涯。
她追求自己的设计风格，对于空间木材的使用也情有独钟。同时，她持续研究意大利艺术风格与现代空间设计特点。在之后的3年多时间里，她接触到一众高净值的精英客户，对于家居地面及板饰的精致要求，都存在着：期望能够拥有天然个性、前卫唯美等需求。因此，在2015年，让她萌生了创办了“REKEY”这一设计型地板家居品牌的念头，后联合一众精英设计团队，遍寻全球优质木材资源与制造工厂，正式创办了“REKEY”这一品牌。
